Went to see popo at the old folks' home last sunday. The place so secluded lor, somemore the atmosphere so scary. Had a hard time finding popo's bed. The home's hygiene isn't very good leh. Could see lizards crawling around from time to time lol. Bo bian, no one free enough to take care of popo. Can only visit her as often as we can.

Real clumsy at band today! Accidentally knocked my lower lip with the metal mouthpiece, pain. When keeping stand, finger kena kiap. The skin came off. Bloody! Luckily I had plasters in my bag. Think I'm getting prone to accidents again. Haiya.

Sis's having vacation very very soon! And I'm starting school very very soon too. We can't seem to have any common vacation together haha. So sad man, it has been 2 years since I went out with sis. Hope can go out with her soon!

Hmm tired. Sleep until 1pm la haha! I'll miss waking up in the afternoon when school starts. ):

It's mum's birthday today, so surprised her with ice-cream cake sis and I made yesterday night. But it looked so ugly ):

Then when I was just starting to descend the stairs to the hall, the thought of someone going to fall came to me. Immediately after I had that thought, my junior fell off the stairs with his eupho! Kena shocked ah.

Now still have this kind of 'sixth sense', but lesser incidents liao, and minor. Better la, liddat. When something you thought of going to happen really happens, you will !!!! OMG

Aiyo the timetable finally out.

Mon 8am-6pm, with 3 hours of Structures at the end. x___x Hi Magdelene, long time no see. I miss the ruler-bending. :D
Tue 9am-1pm. Lecture, tutorial, practical of the same module all in 4 hours.
Wed 8.30am-12pm. Same as tue, diff module.
Thur 10am-6pm. With a 2.5h break! -___-
Fri 8am-6pm. Maybe 1-3pm take gem lor. Or else sleep in library again liao lo.

Even weeks no tutorials and practical! Woohoo!

Lucky no LC module this sem. Happy liao la. Interesting modules this sem! Soil science, Hydrology and hydraulics, Industrial noise and vibrations, Air pollution!

Also modules learnt before, but more into detail le ba. Structures 2, Engineering Maths 2, and the year-long Geomatics 2.

DEWT 01 class outing at settler's cafe was fun! Haha played board games drank peach tea lol. And sms-ed Serene whole day haha. Had a pleasant surprise at the cafe! The waiter was explaining how to play the game called 'saboteur' or smth, then suddenly heard people singing birthday song. Turned back and saw a classmate holding a birthday cake and walking towards me! Lol they were celebrating my birthday! Stunned for a long time. But I was happy(: They also wrote wishes for me as a present.

Near the end of the outing Serene messaged that she felt like watching a movie. Then first time so 'on', after outing went dhoby ghaut to catch a movie (confessions of a shopaholic)with her sia haha. Had thai express for dinner! Didn't expect the food there would be so spicy till we used 1.5 hours to finish our dinner. Lol!

Today ah, rot at home like I always do. Just now eat cake ah. Nice lah. (: Enjoyed the company of my family!

Accompanied sis to tampines ikea to buy bookshelf extension today! Time spent there was quite fun haha. Lots of the things there really have nice and creative designs. I got attracted to one light blue coloured blanket there lol. Very soft one la! Haha.

After spending about 3 hours there, we took taxi and went home lor. Cos it was raining real heavily. Then we started assembling the bookshelf! Screw here screw there then okay liao. Though in the end we had a bit of problem and needed dad's help haha.

For the past few weeks, I have been recalling dreams where my teeth fall out. So far yesterday's dream was the worst- my whole set of lower teeth fell out one by one lol. But the odd thing is that there wasn't any blood or painfulness.

Then today I saw a book about dreams on sis's table, so borrowed and browsed it through. There was this part at the last few pages of the book where it interprets some dream symbols. One of them was 'teeth'. It says that dreaming about teeth falling is "the focus of many anxiety dreams, reflecting insecurities in the personal, domestic or professional sphere". Quite true leh. Family matters, etc.

What I hope is that I won't dream of teeth falling out again! Haha.

Went to see lecturer about the competition thing. Ended at 3pm, then went home. After one hour left house again go band. Really glad that those three eupho ppl came back. Monday was really loner. But realised I wasn't as close to them as before. No idea why. ):

Those pieces we played I thought was really tough. Only sometimes play some notes. Most of the time is stone and stare at the score. I know I shouldn't quit and all, cos I have overcome difficult pieces in the past too(though I didn't play too well). But it's that feeling of not being good enough for the band that's making me think whether to continue or not.

Popo has been transferred to another hospital from Changi hospital for rehabilitation yesterday. Went to visit her with mum today. Then I really feel like slapping some of the doctors and nurses there. All stand in front of my popo's bed and chat. The place isn't really big, so with those people standing there, no space to walk sia. Somemore so noisy, people how to sleep?

Then popo want to eat lunch also very mafan. The doctors and nurses stand there, block the lunch table. We want to go to the other side of the bed also cannot. Then popo tell them "Eh, zor deng ah."(Which means the way kena blocked in cantonese) After very long then they went away. By that time we already squeezed through those chatting people and moved the lunch table to the bed liao. Don't like. Stayed there around an hour then went back.

There's a kid somewhere in the neighbourhood crying. Loud guy.

I could still remember when I was still a child, I cried as loud as that kid I mentioned. Even my neighbours will come and see what has happened to me when I was crying. Then my mother who was beating me with the cane felt paiseh and stopped what she was doing. Haha.

There was also one childhood incident which I remembered very vividly.

When I was around 3 years old my sis was already attending K2 classes. These classes start in the morning and end in the afternoon. In the morning my mum would bring my sis to the kindergarten for her lessons.

I never knew how my mother brought my sis back home in the afternoon until one day when I woke up from my nap, my mum who was napping next to me was gone la! I thought I was left alone at home and I was scared like hell. I searched all the rooms in the empty house, then I opened the door and went out of the house to find my mum(only on the 3rd floor la). The first person I saw was my neighbour's maid. She was in the house. I cried like dunno what and I said"Mummy! Mummy!" to her. Then that maid just stared at me for a few seconds and closed the door. Haha I think she thought I wanted her to be my mum.

Then I went to the stairs, with the "mummy-ing" still going on. Then one auntie climbing up the stairs saw me. Luckily that auntie knew my mum la. Then she told me, " Eh, ah girl, dun cry! Your mother is at the kindergarten la! I saw her just now. She's waiting for your sis la! Aiya never mind. I go ask her come back now ah, dun run about ok!"

Then I went home and waited for my mum and sis to come back. Haha, couldn't remember I cried for how long.

Pia-ed materials tech report today, then after that went to school to hand it in. Sad la, go all the way to school from sengkang to hand in work. Then after that go library do a bit of cad drawing with people for a while. Sian la, so difficult to understand. Somemore not only got practical, but also theory(with loads of calculations needed). Must learn all by Monday! Ahhhhh~

On the way home, I was frowning for a very long time before I realised what I was doing. But the thing is that I was not thinking of anything that will make my frown. Lol leh. What's happening to me.

捞-ed鱼生 at home for the first time today. Haha, not bad la.

I know I have said this for many times already, but I would say it again: TIME PASSES REAL FAST! Around 10 months ago, I was just posted into SP. 7 months ago I had my first IBM concert. Slightly more than a month ago, I had my first MD concert too. A month ago, I was counting down to 2009 in the neighbourhood. And today I celebrate my sis's birthday for the 21st time! And 8 days later, I would be sitting for CAD mst. Haha.

A year is becoming shorter and shorter for me, since 14 years old. I think this applies to many people too. Too busy to stop for even just a while. Before we realise it, 365 days were gone just like that.

OMG there's like around 14 hours more to MD concert. Time passes really fast!

It was like just yesterday when I first joined spsb la. Did not know what to expect then. Was thinking of quitting in the first place, because the rest played really well, and I played sooo terrrribbbble. But after a few months, I decided to stay in the band and continue to catch up with the others lor. Dunno why.

Then came IBM concert. Didn't play in a concert that is solely for band, so was really nervous la hehe. Even lost confidence the day before the concert lol. Then after the concert, the number of people in the band decreased. ):

And now my second concert in spsb! Wth so fast! 8 months gone just like that! More than half a year leh! Being in the band is like so unreal. Too happy I think. Like not in reality one lol.

Hai. I can't imagine what my life will be like after today. Back to reality, no doubt. Aiyo even if band resumes, the atmosphere won't be the same again. With laoban and the year 3s gone, will sian sian one. ): Then quit band ma liddat? Dunno.

Woke up at around 5am with a cramp in my right leg. It's one of the worst cramps I had. Pain sia!

After that torment, I start to shiver, when I was not cold at all(maybe I was?). No idea why this happened! I shivered till I fell asleep again. -__- Sian right.

Had CAD class today. Finished gluing the pipes and completed the practical part. Then now I am having my 3-hour break before attending my GEM lesson. Classmates went to play badminton but I'm in the library rotting la, haha. Don't want kena by shuttlecock or racket liao.

Come to think of it, I actually have phobia for quite a lot of sports activities. Lol. Sad right.

So tired now la. I want to nap la. But can't fall asleep in library la. I want go home sleep la. -__-

Yestersday's marina barrage was quite okay, didn't have to do much. However felt guilty for slacking. Ate too much and took pictures! The problem of too many helpers lol.

Did much more today. It was raining and I thought that there would be less people going to mb, but I was utterly wrong. There were a lot of tour groups. All types of people. All types of incidents with the visitors that made me really pissed off too. Then my super fake smile appears on my stupid face. It's that smile that would make people beat me up. Hoho. If my tolerence level was that high. Hai.

And. MB does not have enough tags for the volunteers! I didn't have a tag myself, and when I started saying"Hello! Feel free to explore the interactives!" people were stunned and stared at me as if I'm mad. They thought I was some visitor too but suddenly act as a guide or something lol.

I also realised that people are really interested in water. There's water flowing in gallery that I was assigned to. The water was only for show. When visitors step into the gallery, the first thing most of them did was to touch the water and go" Wah, zui ah/shui ah/water ah!" Then kids start splashing water, adults start talking about aedes mosquitoes haha. Some even attempted to taste the water. -__- Then they leave the wet gallery.

Primary school teacher: It's okay to touch the water.
Sorry, but no! It's okay to touch the water, BUT not when you wet the gallery floor! It's a gallery, not a playground. People, be considerate!

What can we do but smile and tell them to stop playing with the water. However it seemed of not much use. The floor and interactives were covered with water lor, in the end. ): When those kids were playing with the water, I try to divert their attention to the interactives, so the floor won't be anymore wetter la. Sian diao.

Hmm. Sigh.

Marina-barrage-ed today. Couldn't even talk properly in front of a person there la. Wah. I'm only explaining one of the interactives in one of the galleries leh. Lousy sia, lol!

Weather was so humid today. After having lunch was so lethargic haha. Crawled to the classroom. Almost whole class was like that too. Soo tired sia! Haha.

This week really bad la. Everything going against me one.

Did not play anything yesterday during band. Were discussing about the new band name, attendance and pieces to play etc. I use my time and money to go there and practise, but didn't even play la, not even one note. If they really want to discuss, should discuss after a bit of practice ma. Hai.

Hope after 12am the new week will be better! :D Haha.

Felt so tired today. The training today was quite boring. Forced myself to stay awake then. Hai. Were given scripts to memorise(more of facts) so that we know what to say when we are doing the guiding. Going back there again on Friday for rehearsal. Stressed! >__<"

I don't like projects. ):

I don't like them even more when there is not enough time for us to complete it.

And even even more when we have to present the project in the early morning.

Just one project already makes me feel so drained. How useless can I be? ): Such a bad start of a new semester.

8 siao modules and 2 bands to commit to. Why cannot, can ma. Just that for a slow person like me, I need a lot more extra time to catch up(and without guarantee that I can do well). But that extra time makes me feel really uncertain and discouraged hai.

I'm going to have white hair appearing on my head soon! Or rather, no more hair left. -__-'''

Today's only the fourth day of week one, and I can feel the stress level coming up. I think it's because of the modules I had today- engineering maths and oral communications. My knowledge of maths is near zero, and my english sucks. -__-

Stared at maths questions, scared of being called out to talk to the class for 2 minutes. So sian right haha. Hmm.

Tomorrow's thursday already. Time passes really fast! So far know 4 lecturers liao, there's 4 more(IDEA, engineering maths, oral communications, character development).

Till today there's only one lecturer's teaching style that I can't get use to. The lecturer teaches electronics technology. He likes to "Hor?" in his lesson, I found out. Lol. I nearly failed O level Physics and I'm taking one module that is so similar to it. Hai-__- Hope I can pass ah.

Yesterday's materials technology class quite ok leh, haha. The lecturer can really engage the students in his lesson. I think I'll enjoy this module most. (:

There's quite a number of maths-related modules this sem. Can suffer until siao. Plus everyday walk that long stretch of path, my brain can rust already. Come to think of it, I'm neither good at maths nor science. Oops, neither english nor chinese! -__-

Ok, I realised that I wasted my life away for the past 17 years. This is so bad! I'm getting suspicious- how did I pass my PSLE and O's? Seemed super impossible. Most probably miracles happened lol.

Today Engineering process and CAD lecturer give us project do. About dunno what groundwater. Next week must present. Where got time?! Dampen our spirits sia. Hai. Then after class, people went to play basketball. I go there stone haha! Scared of ball games sia. My head always kena hit by ball. Basketballs and volleyballs are my worst enemies haha. They see me sure come bouncing after my head. HAHAHA. -__- Then after that go quality management lesson lor.

QM class was quite boring, sit and listen only. At least I didn't feel sleepy during that lesson.

Must enjoy first week! I love early releases from classes. (:

Went to the supermarket with mum just now. Saw one auntie working there, replenishing the vegetables on the shelves. Reminded me of my working days in the supermarket in S'goon. Was so labourious la. Still can remember how the other aunties working there asked me to do things faster.

Should give the people working at the supermarket encouragement haha! -__-
